E. Jean Carroll is the 17th woman to accuse the President of sexual misconduct or assault. How is this not the leading story for every major news outlet? Have we really reached the point where this is normal? That this isn’t even to garner media attention and be seriously discussed?

This will never be normal. We must do more for victims of sexual misconduct and assault. And we must believe women. Things must change.

"I made a list of hideous men in my life. It includes the president — who assaulted me in the dressing room of Bergdorf Goodman 23 years ago," writes E. Jean Carroll, who reflects on the most hideous men in her life in the cover story for our next issue. Carroll shares for the first time her violent encounter with Donald Trump. The Donna Karan coatdress she was wearing that day has hung on the back of her closet door ever since; she wore it again for the first time for her portrait session with New York Magazine.
